Ignite The Night

Ignite your love of winter along a two-kilometer illuminated forest trail at Terra Cotta Conservation Area. Ice rinks, ski, snowshoe and kick sled rentals available if conditions allow. Visitors are also welcome to bring their own equipment. You can warm up with a hot drink and grab some snacks at the Park Store. See you there!

COLOUR at Headwaters Arts Gallery

COLOUR is Headwaters Arts second themed, member art show that celebrates a world filled with colours as seen through the eyes of the selected artists. The Gallery Committee received over 35 entries for this show, all of high quality, which made the jurying process challenging. Thirty-eight works by 28 artists were selected by the gallery committee jurors. The art show and sale features art work in a variety of mediums including: acrylic, clay, textured sculpted paper, watercolour, oil, dye on silk, textiles, glass mosaic, mixed media mosaic, fibre, and mixed media.

Women's Wellness Retreat at Rusty Jade Ranch

Rusty Jade Ranch is excited to announce this retreat taking place February 28-March 1. Take a Hike with TRCA at Albion Hills

Join Albion Hills Conservation Area and discover the wonders of nature! Learn to identify the unique traits of local wildlife, explore how to recognize trees in the winter, and get hands-on experience using binoculars to spot hidden treasures in the landscape. This outdoor adventure is a perfect way to connect with nature and deepen your appreciation for the world around you!

There are two timeslots for the program, 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. & 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

This event is intended for Ages 6+:

  • Beginner level information
  • Activities and concepts that are friendly for all ages
  • Intended audience includes children, youth, and adults
  • Please wear appropriate clothing for the outdoor walk, including sturdy, closed toed shoes.

Maple Syrup in the Park

Experience the Canadian tradition of maple syrup production through interactive demonstrations and kids activities at Terra Cotta Conservation Area. Explore the outdoors as you take a wagon ride to the sugarbush. End your visit with a pancake breakfast with real maple syrup and a treat from the Park Store. This is a ticketed event that runs March 13, 14, 15, 16, 22 and 23.
